The first objective is a no brainer. Inspire the youth for the sciences. The second one also a no brainer:  improve international relations.  The ISS (International Space Station) is that example.  The third part, I will quote this part specifically, (Quote)to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science … and math and engineering(End Quote).

I question the use of the word “dominantly” in this statement.  Alarm bells are going off in the back of my brain over this statement and I cannot put my finger on it specifically.  Call a hunch, or the Force is tingling; alerting me to something is wrong here.

The Articles of Confederation were replaced with the Constitution, which granted the federal government enough authority to cultivate, promote and secure the Blessings of Liberty. The balance of authority and individual liberty was understood. Power was confined to that which was enumerated in the Constitution with a certain and meaningful intent for check and balances.

Lincoln issued this warning in his inaugural address, “Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one. This is a most valuable and sacred right – a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world.” Being a representative republic, not a democracy, “rising up” means other than revolution by means of arms. The people must “rise up” from the grass roots across this great country as we think of the greater good of this and future generations. We are limited in the peaceful transfer of power…resignation, death, elections, and impeachment.

“We the People” have had enough. Enough is Enough. The Obama White House and identifiable Members of Congress are now on a progressive socialist, treasonous death march and are bankrupting and weakening the country. We have watched them violate their sacred oath of office.

It is now and each day that these public servants must put the citizen’s interests above self-interest by resigning immediately. Our so-called Representatives and Senators are more interested in party loyalty than performing their duties. So, do not expect them to resign en masse or be impeached. If the birth was in a hospital, as AKA OBAMA has maintained, such evidence would be the name of the hospital and the name and signature of the doctor who delivered him.

The records of hospitals in Hawaii have been searched and there is no record of Stanley Ann Obama ever having given birth to a child. In a November 2004 interview with the Rainbow Newsletter, Maya Soetoro told reporters her half-brother Sen. Barack Obama was born on Aug. 4, 1961, at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu. After it was concluded that Obama and his mother were never there in February 2008, Maya told reporters for the Honolulu Star-Bulletin that Obama was at the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. Obama and Mom were never there either. AKA Obama has said he was born at Kapiolani Medical Center yet no hospital official has suggested that their facility should be designated as the birth place of a President. Odd! (end quote).

With the recent events of Israel sending it’s Shayetet 13, a naval commando unit, boarded the protest boats at around 4:00 A.M. Once the troops were ordered to board those so called Peace flotilla ships (this author’s viewpoint), the damage to the Israeli nation – no matter what option the Israelis took – would be bad.  Weapons were found on board.  These so called peace activists attacked the boarders, knifing one and tossing another soldier over the side from the looks of one video.  Stun grenades, fire bomb(Molotov cocktail?).

The “flotilla” came from Turkey.  No incidents were encountered on five of the six vessels boarded.  But it was the sixth vessel that made the news and once again – no matter what Israel did, world opinion would go against it – as planned from the start.  On that sixth boat, the Turkish-flagged ferry Mavi Marmara; nine passengers were killed.  among the activists who were killed in the struggle were recovered pistols along with their empty casings.

Seven Navy commandos wounded, two seriously. And they were sent in with paint ball guns-at least these troops had actual guns and ammo for backup.  But they were met with metal poles and knives at first, then the live fire from the pistols.
.
Gaza is at war with Israel.  A naval blockade by Israel is legal. But this story only leads to other stories that caught my eye recently.
.
First, the news about Israel stationing some of its subs, so that at least one sub will be operating off the Iranian coastline. Three of Israel’s its five Dolphin class submarines will be in the Red Sea from now on. These Dolphin class submarines are presumed to be armed with cruise missiles (equipped with nuclear warheads). Two of these subs are brand new and the older boats of this class have since been upgraded  to include the larger fuel capacity, converting more torpedo tubes to the larger 650mm size, and installing new electronics. The fuel and torpedo tube mods appear to have something to do with stationing the subs off the coast of Iran. The new Dolphins cost about $650 million in US dollars.

These submarines were built by Germany for Israel and have larger fuel capacity (to make the trip around the Horn of Africa if needed) if the Suez canal is unavailable in the future.  Larger fuel capacity also equals longer on station time.  Stated endurance is over 10,000 kilometers and about 50 days at sea.

The Dolphins have a fuel cell base propulsion system which makes them very quiet.  Hard to detect by the Iranians.  The first 3 subs Israel received did not have the AIP (Air Independent Propulsion) system.

Why post such in depth data on these submarines?  Recently, I have been investigating as best as I can through the internet, the rumors about the North Korean mini sub supposed attack on the BP floating oil rig Deepwater Horizon.  I was going through the motions of a google search when I came across some web forum where someone was blaming Israel for sinking the South Korean frigate.  If the reader wishes to read such “information,” they are welcome to do so.  I however, do not give any credence to that type of fiction.  Why you ask?  If I’m still looking into the North Korean mini sub rumor even after all this time – why will I not give any consideration to this rumor?  Because it was racially, and religious (anti-Jewish) motivated in my opinion.

But, today’s search also lead me to this interesting article in Haaretz.com, dated June 1, 2010.  Entitled “Mossad Chief: Israel gradually becoming burden on U.S.”  The first paragraph really grabbed my attention, quote:  Mossad Chief Meir Dagan said on Tuesday that Israel is progressively becoming a burden on the United States. “Israel is gradually turning from an asset to the United States to a burden,” said Dagan, speaking before the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. end quote.

It is sad, but with the current administration of American President Barrack H. Obama – Mr. Dagan is correct.  It might be better to say that Israel is a burden to Obama and his followers, but not to the American people in general.

Congressionman Djou will now head off to Washington D.C. to take over the office of Democrat Neil Abercrombie.  Abercrombie said the following, “I congratulate Mr. Djou. Serving in the United States House of Representatives, for whatever period of time, is a great honor and even greater responsiblity.  The majority of voters in the district supported Democratic candidates in this special election.  I am confident that a Democrat will win the congressional race in the general election.”

Hanabusa and Case both vowed to keep on fighting against Djou in the primary race in Novemeber.  While the victor in this election, Charles Djou is still considered to be an underdog for the general election.  Hanabusa and Case together has 59% of the vote.

A grim report circulating in the Kremlin today written by Russia’s Northern Fleet is reporting that the United States has ordered a complete media blackout over North Korea’s torpedoing of the giant Deepwater Horizon oil platform owned by the World’s largest offshore drilling contractor Transocean that was built and financed by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., that has caused great loss of life, untold billions in economic damage to the South Korean economy, and an environmental catastrophe to the United States.

Most important to understand about this latest attack by North Korea against its South Korean enemy is that under the existing “laws of war” it was a permissible action as they remain in a state of war against each other due to South Korea’s refusal to sign the 1953 Armistice ending the Korean War.
.
To the attack itself, these reports continue, the North Korean “cargo vessel” Dai Hong Dan believed to be staffed by 17th Sniper Corps “suicide” troops left Cuba’s Empresa Terminales Mambisas de La Habana (Port of Havana) on April 18th whereupon it “severely deviated” from its intended course for Venezuela’s Puerto Cabello bringing it to within 209 kilometers (130 miles) of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform which was located 80 kilometers (50 miles) off the coast of the US State of Louisiana where it launched an SSC Sang-o Class Mini Submarine (Yugo class) estimated to have an operational range of 321 kilometers (200 miles).

On the night of April 20th the North Korean Mini Submarine manned by these “suicidal” 17th Sniper Corps soldiers attacked the Deepwater Horizon with what are believed to be 2 incendiary torpedoes causing a massive explosion and resulting in 11 workers on this giant oil rig being killed outright. Barely 48 hours later, on April 22nd , this North Korean Mini Submarine committed its final atrocity by exploding itself directly beneath the Deepwater Horizon causing this $1 Billion oil rig to sink beneath the seas and marking 2010’s celebration of Earth Day with one of the largest environmental catastrophes our World has ever seen.

To the reason for North Korea attacking the Deepwater Horizon, these reports say, was to present US President Obama with an “impossible dilemma” prior to the opening of the United Nations Review Conference of the Parties to the Treat on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) set to begin May 3rd in New York.

This “impossible dilemma” facing Obama is indeed real as the decision he is faced with is either to allow the continuation of this massive oil leak catastrophe to continue for months, or immediately stop it by the only known and proven means possible, the detonation of a thermonuclear device.

Russian Navy atomic experts in these reports state that should Obama choose the “nuclear option” the most viable weapon at his disposal is the United States B83 (Mk-83) strategic thermonuclear bomb having a variable yield (Low Kiloton Range to 1,200 Kilotons) which with its 12 foot length and 18 inch diameter, and weighing just over 2,400 pounds, is readily able to be deployed and detonated by a remote controlled mini-sub.

Should Obama choose the “nuclear option” it appears that he would be supported by the International Court of Justice who on July 8, 1996 issued an advisory opinion on the use of nuclear weapons stating that they could not conclude definitively on these weapons use in “extreme circumstances” or “self defense”.

On the other hand, if Obama chooses the “nuclear option” it would leave the UN’s nuclear conference in shambles with every Nation in the World having oil rigs off their coasts demanding an equal right to atomic weapons to protect their environment from catastrophes too, including Iran.

To whatever decision Obama makes it remains a fact that with each passing hour this environmental catastrophe grows worse. And even though Obama has ordered military SWAT teams to protect other oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico from any further attack, and further ordered that all drilling in the Gulf of Mexico be immediately stopped, this massive oil spill has already reached the shores of America and with high waves and more bad weather forecast the likelihood of it being stopped from destroying thousands of miles of US coastland and wildlife appears unstoppable.

And not just to the environmental catastrophe that is unfolding the only devastation to be wrecked upon the United States and South Korea by this North Korean attack as the economic liabilities associated with this disaster are estimated by these Russian reports to be between $500 Billion to $1.5 Trillion, and which only a declaration of this disaster being an “act of war” would free some the World’s largest corporations from bankruptcy.

Important to note too in all of these events was that this was the second attack by North Korea on its South Korean enemy, and US ally, in a month as we had reported on in our March 28th report titled “Obama Orders ‘Immediate Stand-down’ After Deadly North Korean Attack” and which to date neither the Americans or South Korea have retaliated for and giving one senior North Korean party leader the courage to openly state that the North Korean military took “gratifying revenge” on South Korea.

And for those believing that things couldn’t get worse, they couldn’t be more mistaken as new reports coming from Japanese military sources are stating that North Korea is preparing for new launches of its 1,300 kilometer (807 miles) intermediate range ballistic “Rodong” missile which Russian Space Forces experts state is able to “deploy and detonate” an atomic electromagnetic pulse (EMP) device, and which if detonated high in the atmosphere could effectively destroy the American economy for years, if not decades, to come.

Now my take on this – I’m not going to come out and say that this is impossible.  Look at how the 9/11 terrorists used hijacked airliners against us in a unique way back in 2001.  If North Korea was stupid enough to actually attack the United States and South Korea (remember it’s ship being sunk by one of these sucide torpedos recently?).  I would personally assumed that any attack against the US would come at us from the Pacific.

But if this article is correct, this is more about directing US/UN policy towards a certain direction.  I quote the following passage:  Should Obama choose the “nuclear option” it appears that he would be supported by the International Court of Justice who on July 8, 1996 issued an advisory opinion on the use of nuclear weapons stating that they could not conclude definitively on these weapons use in “extreme circumstances” or “self defense”.

On the other hand, if Obama chooses the “nuclear option” it would leave the UN’s nuclear conference in shambles with every Nation in the World having oil rigs off their coasts demanding an equal right to atomic weapons to protect their environment from catastrophes too, including Iran. end quote.

And what of North Korea’s submarine capabilities?  While writing this post for The Shanks Dimension, I decided to sidetrack a little and research that subject.  Links to that are lisited below as well.  It would be interesting to know if this midget sub was a Yugo class or one of the newer p14s.  The picture with this post is of the “Sang-O” class that was captured in the 1990s.

After more than a year in office as President of the United States, Barack H. Obama, has left this nation vulnerable  to attack by our perceived lack of a backbone.  On Drudge Report, there was this article “Miss him?  Bush’s reputation might be ready for a rebound.” Personally, I would say yes as far as foreign policy goes.

Anyway, this story is developing like the rest of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig sinking/oil spill.  I am sure more details will be coming out this weekend.

ON a forum dealing with military photos, I found this post dated Aug 29, 2007 by someone named drakegoodman.  They were talking about the North Korean mini submarines back then and this person posted a short list of incidents…  Note:  Snag-o in Korean means Shark from what I understand…
*A North Korean shark class sub ran aground near the city of Kangnung, on the east coast of South Korea. A taxi driver came across two “prowlers” on the night (0055 hours) of September 19, 1996. He also noticed an odd vehicle just off shore and contacted police. A massive manhunt was begun, which ultimately ended with one captured North Korean Submarine, a captured North Korean Commando, 13 North Koreans killed by South Korean Forces (and another 11 killed by their own team) and 17 South Korean dead (13 Military and four civilians). Maps and Weapons ranging from assault rifles to RPG-7’s were recovered from the sub.

*On June 24, 1998 near Sokch’o, a North Korean submarine was spotted, stranded with its propeller fouled by fishing nets. The South Korean Navy took it under tow and over the period of two days moved it to the port of Kang-Reung. South Korean EOD and Special Mission Unit members boarded the vessel where it was found the entire crew had died, some killed by others who later killed themselves. As with the earlier submarine, assault rifles and RPG-7’s were dfound in the hull, and in this case explosives were found.

*On December 18th, 1998 members of the South Korean Army Coast guard spotted a high-speed boat pass by 2km off shore using an infrared optical scope. Patrol boats rushed to the scene and gave chase in an effort that ultimately saw action by eight patrol boats, P-3C II Orion and S-2E Tracker anti-submarine aircraft, Lynk helicopters, CN-235 cargo aircraft operating as flare ships, and a flight of F-5 fighter/bombers. After repeated orders to surrender were finally answered with gunfire, one of the SOuth Korean patrol boats opened fire and hit the fleeing vessel with three 40mm grenades. Five depth charges dropped in its path sealed its fate and the vessel sank. The body of one armed agent wearing a wetsuit was recovered a couple of hours later, an autopsy revealed that he had died before the boat had sunk by ingestion of a poison capsule. This article tells of the efforts to position the 4-story tall, 100-ton concrete and steel box over one of the blown-out well heads on teh bottom of the Gulf of Mexico.  5,000 feet below the surface, the huge containment box was ready to move into its final position.

It is hoped that this would be able to collect as much as 85% of the oil spilling out of the well head.  Robot submarines were still working on securing the structure in position.

From the position of the containment box, the wreckage is about 1,300 feet away on the sea floor.

Mr. J.B. Williams has written two wonderful articles (see the link in ref section below) that were posted to CanadaFreePress.com webapge for both of them.

Basically, the Hawaiian birth certificate for Barack Hussein Obama is causing more problems that it is solving by having a Hawaiian official say that the “Certification of live birth” is offical.  Reading JB Williams post on “The Bottom Line on Natural Born Citizen,” doesn’t solve the problem for our President.  Because only a “Natural born” citizen can hold the office of President of the United States of America.  Not “native” nor “naturalized” nor even the liberal double talk “citizen of the world.”

So, lets fast forward and say some event has happened to prove that BHO was not qualified to be POTUS.  Every document he signed thus becomes invalid (which in my mind would be a godsend as for as this Healthcare bill that has been shoved down our collective throats).  But all his appontments to the legal bench.  Even his choice for Vice President – Joe Biden thus becomes illegal.

This ‘perfect storm’ would in fact give us our first woman president – Nancy Pelosi. (I personally shutter at the thought of this individual, given her performance with Healthcare business; could become a future President).

Well, aside from the fact that it wasn’t the Chinese or Russians who brainwashed Obama, but the people who the young Obama hung out with and went to college with, or who were his mentors(like Saul Alinsky for example. The man who wrote Rules for Radicals).  There are of course, many others that could be listed.  Are we not having a variation of TMC with this administration right now?  Look at how American foreign policy has been turned upon its head!  Embrace dictators and give the finger to our allies.  And we have a President that still is bowing to other foreign leaders when he should not be!

So dear reader, I ask this after you have read those two articles by JB Williams. Would it be better to expose BHO as a usurper to the throne now, or wait until after he is voted out of office?  Which way would cause the least amount of damage to the country? I think that these are some important questions that we have to keep in the back of our mind when we head into the Novemeber election this year.

I have previously agreed with our President that we should booster private space companies who can provide ‘taxi’ service duties (eventually) up to the International Space Station.  I still agree with that part of his plan.

We have already spent about $9 billion on the Orion part of the Constellation Project and now, as an after thought; we’ll develope a smaller version (can anyone say “Apollo?”) to be used as a lifeboat at the international space station. Problem is getting the damn thing UP to the space station.

And oh, maybe a new heavy-lift booster decision will be made in 2015.

The article by Patrick Gavin states that NBC were able to get a copy of the letter written by Neil Armstron and it was signed by James Lovel (Apollo 13 commander) and Eugene Cernan (Apollo 17 commander).  Former astronaut Neil Armstrong has issued a strongly worded rebuke of President Barack Obama, criticizing the president for proposed revisions to the U.S.’ space program.  Below is the text of the letter and article by Patrick Gavin.

Begin Quote:  Armstrong, along with astronauts James Lovell and Eugene Cernan, called the proposal “devastating” in a letter obtained by NBC News. Read below for the full text:

“The United States entered into the challenge of space exploration under President Eisenhower’s first term, however, it was the Soviet Union who excelled in those early years,” the letter begins. “Under the bold vision of Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon, and with the overwhelming approval of the American people, we rapidly closed the gap in the final third of the 20th century, and became the world leader in space exploration. …

“When President Obama recently released his budget for NASA, he proposed a slight increase in total funding, substantial research and technology development, an extension of the International Space Station operation until 2020, long range planning for a new but undefined heavy lift rocket and significant funding for the development of commercial access to low earth orbit.

“Although some of these proposals have merit, the accompanying decision to cancel the Constellation program, its Ares 1 and Ares V rockets, and the Orion spacecraft, is devastating.

“America’s only path to low Earth orbit and the International Space Station will now be subject to an agreement with Russia to purchase space on their Soyuz (at a price of over 50 million dollars per seat with significant increases expected in the near future) until we have the capacity to provide transportation for ourselves. The availability of a commercial transport to orbit as envisioned in the President’s proposal cannot be predicted with any certainty, but is likely to take substantially longer and be more expensive than we would hope.

“It appears that we will have wasted our current ten plus billion dollar investment in Constellation and, equally importantly, we will have lost the many years required to recreate the equivalent of what we will have discarded.

For The United States, the leading space faring nation for nearly half a century, to be without carriage to low Earth orbit and with no human exploration capability to go beyond Earth orbit for an indeterminate time into the future, destines our nation to become one of second or even third rate stature. While the President’s plan envisages humans traveling away from Earth and perhaps toward Mars at some time in the future, the lack of developed rockets and spacecraft will assure that ability will not be available for many years.

Without the skill and experience that actual spacecraft operation provides, the USA is far too likely to be on a long downhill slide to mediocrity. America must decide if it wishes to remain a leader in space. If it does, we should institute a program which will give us the very best chance of achieving that goal.

The ‘Special’ briefing the mighty ‘Obama’ is planning to give at the Kennedy Space Center in a few days will be a finely crafted, and beautifully delivered by the Teleprompter-in-Chief – meaningless statement to send the American Space Program to the grave.  That would be my WORST fear to come out of this special meeting.  But like everyone else who believes in having a strong space program – we won’t get one in the end.

I grabbed one of the screen shots to go with my posting here.  It is of The Standard online edition for June 27, 2004.  The very FIRST sentence of that article says:  Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

For those of you who do not remember, Jack Ryan was married to the woman who played the oh so sexy Borg on Star Trek Voyager – 7 of 9, Jeri Ryan; beginning in 1995.  The Ryan had a son – Alex, in 1994. The two are now divorced and she has remarried a French chef by the name of Christopher Eme in 2007.  They now have a baby girl by the name of Gisele Eme.

Now, being such a big Star Trek fan, one knows about those tales of time travel and how NOT to mess with the time line for it might mess up your own current ’present’ when you finally return to your present.

If we could just ‘Go Back’ in time and prevent Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider from opening those custody files – Jack Ryan would have stayed in the race for the U.S. Senate.  Now whether or not he would actually have won that seat is anybodies guess.

But I view that as the crisis starting point for our country.  That was how Barrack H. Obama got his national ’stage.’  Chicago (Dirty handed) politics looking for any dirt to knock out the opposition by any means necessary.  How tragic that this nation’s destiny has been sidetracked or crippled because of one small custody file some MSMs went after for “Great Copy!”

This was how a ‘foreign-born’ man that somebody spotted in Chicago as having the ‘right stuff’ to totally destroy America from within the government itself, got into American politics.
