When certain movies first come out, if they have a patriotic bent to it, are usually panned by the Holloywood critics.  Example:  Red Dawn, The Postman, Mad Max movies, etc.  Got a theme going there now don’t we? I’m going to quote below the plot summary for the movie “The Postman.”  And for those who need reminding, the lead actor was Kevin Costner. Will Patton played the role of General Bethlehem.  Eric Roth did the screenplay and David Brin the novel.

Set in 2013, after the war has destroyed most of USA, including the government. A solitary traveler is captured by a fascist military group called the Holnists led by Hitler-like General Bethlehem. When he escapes from the Holnists he finds an abandoned mail Jeep and uniform, and starts to travel through small cities, telling them he is a postman, a representative of the restored United States. No one believes him at first, but soon he has followers, and they start to prepare a revolt against Holnists. end quote.

Personally, I liked “The Postman” when it came out along with “Red Dawn” when it too first came out.  But such movies were dismissed when they first came out.  But hey, they are making a remake of “Red Dawn” right now!  This time, the USA is taken over by the Chinese instead of the Soviets.

The article by Paul Craig Roberts made me think back to that movie as well as the other similar movies.  Back in 2009, there was the movie ‘The Road” as the most recent example that I can think of. And then, I remembered back in late 2008, the Russian Political Scientist, Igor Panarin; that predicted the end of the USA (in its current form) taking place in 2010. Politics for the past 20 years have paved the way for our society to be broken up into “clans” as Mr. Roberts writes about in this article of his.  The current administration thinks printing more and more money will somehow “pull” this nation out of this depression (still being called a recession to dull the minds of the masses).  The democrats have engaged in class warfare for decades.  Control of the Department of Education-instead of improving our student’s scholarly endeavours on the national level, has in fact dumbed them down even more.  This in turn, limits entry into the middle class and having productive lives with a better income level.  A young man today will more likely go straight into the workforce and start earning a income while similar aged women will go ahead and go onto college.

Please read this article on Infowars.com and begin thinking for yourself how are you going to survive if the mid-term elections in 2010 go for the democratic (socialist) party instead of the efforts of the Tea Party (dragging along a ‘reluctant to make waves’ Republican Party).  Will Russian professor Igor Panarin predicts come true or not this year?

Some things that he wrote about in this article remind me of what the Democratic Party did under George W. Bush.  Namely, underestimate the fellow with insults that in the end backfire on you.  Hence, all the negative things that they(i.e the Democratic hacks) have said about Sarah Palin is going to backfire on them.

George was a drunk. Not a great college student-how can he be a good president?  He froze when America was attacked.  I will point out to the reader that he was in front of a classroom of schoolkids and news cameras.  The political hacks would seem to indicate that President Bush should be jumping up and down in a panic shouting orders and running back and forth across the front of the school room.

Hence, the disapproving looks down Democratic noses towards the gun-toting, pitbull in lipstick, white trash MILF from the icelands of Alaska.

But take a look at recent polls.  46% to 46% tie with President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election.  Personally, I think Sarah Palin would be better off to wait until 2016 and beyond.  But that might not happen.  This is something we just have to see play out before us.

She connects with the Tea party movement.

And BOTH political parties are afraid of this movement.  Republicans are trying to direct this wave of voters into their corner…  However, I need to remind people that the mascot of the movment might as well be the rattlesnake!  See all those “Don’t Tread on Me” flags.  You want a rattlesnake to box you into a corner do you?

The nature of the oil has changed from that broken well head on the floor of the Gulf of Mexico.  More Natural Gas is now mixed in with the oil which is actually reducing the amount of oil leaking out into the ocean now.

Satellite images from May 1st and today shows the oil slick smaller in size.  Now, if this is truely the case, then the plan to fire rubber tires and gold balls into teh pipe to clog it up may have a decent chance of working now.  The other option is drilling the relief well to reduce the pressure will still take months to complete.

The article by Patrick Gavin states that NBC were able to get a copy of the letter written by Neil Armstron and it was signed by James Lovel (Apollo 13 commander) and Eugene Cernan (Apollo 17 commander).  Former astronaut Neil Armstrong has issued a strongly worded rebuke of President Barack Obama, criticizing the president for proposed revisions to the U.S.’ space program.  Below is the text of the letter and article by Patrick Gavin.

Begin Quote:  Armstrong, along with astronauts James Lovell and Eugene Cernan, called the proposal “devastating” in a letter obtained by NBC News. Read below for the full text:

“The United States entered into the challenge of space exploration under President Eisenhower’s first term, however, it was the Soviet Union who excelled in those early years,” the letter begins. “Under the bold vision of Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon, and with the overwhelming approval of the American people, we rapidly closed the gap in the final third of the 20th century, and became the world leader in space exploration. …

“When President Obama recently released his budget for NASA, he proposed a slight increase in total funding, substantial research and technology development, an extension of the International Space Station operation until 2020, long range planning for a new but undefined heavy lift rocket and significant funding for the development of commercial access to low earth orbit.

Bob Unruh on WND posted on APril 8, 2010 a interesting article about what was said about then-Senator Barrack H. Obama.  Phrases such as ‘Son of Africa’ or ‘Kenyan-born” come from NPR’s own archives.  For more details, please read that article yourself.  They have some screen captures that show such phrases.

I grabbed one of the screen shots to go with my posting here.  It is of The Standard online edition for June 27, 2004.  The very FIRST sentence of that article says:  Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

For those of you who do not remember, Jack Ryan was married to the woman who played the oh so sexy Borg on Star Trek Voyager – 7 of 9, Jeri Ryan; beginning in 1995.  The Ryan had a son – Alex, in 1994. The two are now divorced and she has remarried a French chef by the name of Christopher Eme in 2007.  They now have a baby girl by the name of Gisele Eme.

On June 22, 2004, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider agreed to release the custody files.  The decision generated much controversy because it went against both parents’ direct request and because it generally reversed the early decision to seal the papers in the best interest of the child. It was revealed that six years previously, Jeri had accused Jack Ryan of asking her to perform sexual acts with him in public, and in sex clubs in New York, New Orleans, and Paris. Now, being such a big Star Trek fan, one knows about those tales of time travel and how NOT to mess with the time line for it might mess up your own current ’present’ when you finally return to your present.

If we could just ‘Go Back’ in time and prevent Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider from opening those custody files – Jack Ryan would have stayed in the race for the U.S. Senate.  Now whether or not he would actually have won that seat is anybodies guess.

But I view that as the crisis starting point for our country.  That was how Barrack H. Obama got his national ’stage.’  Chicago (Dirty handed) politics looking for any dirt to knock out the opposition by any means necessary.  How tragic that this nation’s destiny has been sidetracked or crippled because of one small custody file some MSMs went after for “Great Copy!”

This was how a ‘foreign-born’ man that somebody spotted in Chicago as having the ‘right stuff’ to totally destroy America from within the government itself, got into American politics.

Hugo Chavez is already on a buying binge from Russia getting additional tanks and aircraft.  Plus they are making arrangments for the Russian oil firms to explore and pump out 450,000 barrels of oil a day from the Orinoco oil belt.

Quoting the article: Chavez said Moscow and Caracas would strengthen security ties to “continue increasing Venezuela’s defense capability” and move ahead with cooperation on nuclear energy. “We are not going to build the atomic bomb but we will develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. We have to prepare for the post-petroleum era,” Chavez said on Thursday.

Another interesting bit of news from the Reuters article:  Since 2005, Venezuela has bought $4 billion worth of Sukhoi jet fighters, Mi-17 helicopters and Kalashnikov assault rifles. Chavez received more than $2 billion in loans for more Russian arms during his eighth visit to Moscow in September, including T-72 tanks and the S-300 advanced anti-aircraft missile system.

Well ain’t this nice of the Russians… they sent a Beriev amphibious jet plane to fight some forest fires in the scorched Avila mountains that overlook Caracas (now a new workers paradise with elctric blackouts happening more and more).  Well, truth of the matter; I personally would like to see the US purchase some of these Russian amphib fire bombers.

But the final quote from the Reuters article: Chavez hopes Russian cooperation will reach as far as the space industry. “We could even install a satellite launcher,” he said on Thursday.

Not only NO, but I will add, HELL NO!  Fatso Chavez with the means to generate nuclear energy (and find a way to build a few bombs at the same time) plus the means to launch same bombs.  But I am affraid that this will come to pass with the current Obama/zombies party in charge of the White House and Congress.

Speaking to WND reporter Chelsea Schilling, Rep Bachmann said the following, “I want to let people know that we hear you. We want this bill repealed, too, and we’re not just going to roll over and accept Obamacare. We’re not going to roll over and let Nancy Pelosi have her way because it was just a handful of Democrats leadership that pushed this bill onto the backs of 300 million Americans. We don’t have to accept this.”

On being asked if the health care bill can really be repealed, Rep Michele Bachmann stated, “It’s very difficult.  I won’t put rose-colored glasses on.  But 76% of the people in the United States have said that they don’t want this bill.”

Then she went on about this being the result of the Novemeber 2008 elections and the need for the Republican Party to put forward real conservative candidates, not “Conservative lites.”  And for the 2012 elections, the need to have a really strong presidential candidate.

This is what WND saids her bill declaration contains:

We, therefore, the People and Representatives of the United States of America, do solemnly Publish and Declare that health care reform, as a matter of principle, must:

1.  Protect as inviolate the vital doctor-patient relationship;

2.  Reject any addition to the crushing national debt heaped upon all Americans;

IN closing, this is what Rep Bachmann told WND:  ”What is at stake is the survival of the finest health care the world has ever known,” Bachmann said. “We want to be able to continue that. We don’t want to allow ourselves to devolve into a social welfare state, but that’s clearly the president’s intention for us.”

She added, “Now it’s up to us to fight for our country, just like those who have gone before us. We have to be up for the battle.”

I have, since my discovery of Michele Bachmann, always been impressed with her passion for this country.  Any long-time reader of my blog knows that I think she has her “Klingon On.” for the upcoming battle.  For any new readers, when I mention someone has their “Klingon On,” its my attempt to impress upon the reader that the person in question has some steel in their backbone.  Or if its a man, is sporting some solid brass ones.  Or in her case, Re. Michele Bachmann has some brass ovaries of her own.
