North Korea sunk South Korea’s ship last month
News from Seoul, South Korea, states that that nation’s military leadership believes that the North Koreans fired a heavy torpedo at their ship last month that resulted in that vessel sinking and killing 46 sailors. The deadliest incident between the two countries since the 1950-53 Korean War ended..
The 1,200 – ton Cheonan will soon be raised and after inspection, a final report will be issued on the cause of the sinking. South Korea sources state that the North Korean submarines are armed with 200kg(or 441 pound) warheads.
