Irony. Don’t you just love irony. And when it comes to sticking it back at the Greenies (i.e. Climategate) – I love it all the more so.
In the United Kingdom, a electric train was disabled by snow and ice. 100 passengers were stranded. From out of the 1940 tech era came their rescuer – a steam engine called the Tornado.
I love this story. I work in a call center that handles troubleshooting calls from people who have VOIP phone service through a major cable tv company. One that has recently purchased a tv network. Anyway, one of the many, many questions I get from the customers is why is their phone going out all the time.
There are many valid reasons for that to happen. But I look on those questions and in the back of my mind I am thinking, “Just because it says digital on it doesn’t always mean its better.”
Again, I just love irony.

There are many valid reasons for that to happen-mostly weather related. Then equipment does wear out and needs replacing. But I look on those questions and in the back of my mind I am thinking, “Just because it says digital on it doesn’t always mean its better.”
So a steam engine saves the day. Thats great.
