This Is SO Wrong for a US President to do!
First it was the Saudi king and his crowd, now Japan! A United States President bows before NO ONE! Maybe a tip of the head, a nod as he is shaking the hands of another foreign leader – but THIS?! A full on bow!
And yes, I know it is the custom in Japan to bow before the Emperor. And for most other greetings as well. I sure as hell don’t remember President George H. W. Bush doing that. At least before he got that stomach flu thing and threw up on the Prime Minister. Now that was a No-No.
And Conservatives and Republicans both got their panties in a knot over the antics of President Bill Clinton? Oh to go back to yesteryear and just fume over ole Bubba getting a blow job from Monica again. Those were the days!
Why is the Obama White House staff making these gaffs is the more important question? There must be a handbook left behind in the White House on dealing with matters of state!
